Recent Sheraton Columbia Downtown Review: "The only issue we had with the hotel was the communication between the front desk and the cleaning crew. We called at 10 to see if we could check in earlier than 3 and they said it was fine. We came in at 1, checked in and headed up to our room. We definitely startled the hotel maid who informed us that our room was not ready for us. We went back downstairs  and waited with our bags for 25 minutes. The front desk clerks never asked us if there was an issue with our room. We appreciated them letting us check in early but wish that they had taken the time to make sure that the room was actually ready. The front desk clerk also did not tell us what time check out was."
